Qualifications & Experience:-
- Degree in Accounting or other professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or its equivalents;
- Member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants;
- Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience in a reputable accounting firm; and
- Good command of verbal and writing skills in English.
Age Range preference:-
25-38 years
Brief Job Descriptions:-
Assisting head of technical and training to:-
- Identify training needs and prepare annual training schedule;
- Organize training for the firm (more on accounting standards, auditing standards and relevant company law);
- Update firm’s e-database / e-library;
- Summarise technical update and distribute to the staff;
- Release technical bulletin internally and externally;
- Analyse latest technical development and its impact on our client’s business;
- Do research & response to the technical queries from the audit & assurance department;
- Regular review of Quality Control Manual, Model Financial Statements, other standard of procedures;
- Update firm’s audit manual;
- Maintain firm’s master file of the audit software;
- Liaise with authorities and regulatory bodies; and
- Other relevant matters in technical and training aspects.
